How to Enter
To enter for a chance to win the ‘Flora2000 Scholarship Program’ ($1000 scholarship).
please create a short video (no longer than 2 minute) answering the following questions:
- The joy of giving or receiving flowers.
- Your views on ‘Flowers are the perfect gift for a loved one’.
Upload the video to YouTube.
Create a Title as follows ‘Flora2000 Scholarship Program by [insert your name]’

Submit an essay with the following topic
- The joy of giving or receiving flowers.
- Your views on ‘Flowers are the perfect gift for a loved one’.
* Minimum 3000 words. After you’ve completed the above, please send an email message to [email protected], including 1. Link to your video OR 2. Your 3000 words essay along with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your mailing address
- The name of the college or university you are enrolled in
- Proof of acceptance by your educational institution or of the fact that you are currently attending
- Your field of study

How is the winner selected?
The winner is selected by the Flora2000 scholarship team. All entries will be evaluated based on the above criteria. 1 entry that best completed the entry criteria will be awarded the scholarship of $1000.
Scholarship Award Date
Winner will be picked on 1st-July- 2018 and contacted within 14 days.
The winner must claim the scholarship by 31st-July-2018 or the scholarship will be considered forfeited.
The Fine Print
- As part of this application process, you implicitly agree to our terms and conditions and grant Flora2000 permission to use your video or essay in future promotional or marketing materials. The winning applicant also consents to a public announcement of the scholarship award as a means of promoting the program.
- Flora2000 will reach out to the winner’s school/college scholarship or financial aid department. The scholarship funds will be transferred to your college or university, who will ultimately distribute them to the winner. OR Funds in the amount of $1,000 USD will be sent via PayPal. We will make contact with the winner and request their PayPal transfer information.
- The winner applicant must be able and willing to verify their proof of enrollment in their current education institution or University.
- Video production quality counts. Don’t film in portrait mode (unless you have a good reason). Make it fun!
- Don’t simply talk into a web cam or your cell phone for 2 minutes straight. Mix it up a bit with interesting elements, change shooting angles, and use creative graphics to help engage the viewer.
- Please don’t read off of an obvious script in front of you OR write an obvious copy pasted essay from the internet.
- Checking your video or essay for plagiarism is important.
